Workflow
The MUSÉE platform
The MUSÉE platform is designed to easily create compelling captioned photo galleries that link to sourced content on any publisher’s website. A publisher can license the platform’s intuitive online tools to create these experiences internally or arrange with Verris Inc. to provide “white glove” service via the following workflow.
Steps for Publishing
A publisher selects the articles that they would like to have transformed into MUSÉE experiences and provides those URLs to us. We recommend selecting only articles that include at least 5 photos. Photos in landscape mode work best, but it is important that the photos in an individual gallery be either all landscape or all portrait.
MUSÉE will review the articles and determine if the photos are suitable to create a quality slideshow. If not, or if the publisher has additional photos they would like included, they can share an email address with john.paris@verrisinc.com to receive an invitation with a personal secure upload link.
Using that secure upload link, the publisher can upload JPG or PNG image files to MUSÉE. Please note that uploaded image files should be no more than 30 MB each in size, and each photo gallery should contain no more than 10 photos.
MUSÉE will create photo captions based on text from published articles and create teasers to be featured on social media postings. All text will be subject to review and approval by the publisher.
For unpublished photos that are uploaded to us, or if a publisher wants to write their own captions, they can send them in an email to john.paris@verrisinc.com. The publisher can easily pair captions to photos by numbering them and using corresponding numbers in image filenames (i.e. DeadSea1, DeadSea2 etc.). Captions must not exceed 300 characters.
For publishers who do not publish consumer websites (e.g. individual photographers), MUSÉE can create a photo gallery by downloading images and captions from a social media page or by receiving the assets directly.
MUSÉE will be happy to arrange a call to walk through this process if needed.
